On Sunday, Number 6 Duke took down and defeated the Number 1 team Florida State for their first lost of the season. This was an exciting game where no one stood down, but Duke's defense was to solid to get by. Duke will be finishing their regular season with a game against Louisville on Thursday, October 28th.
There has been a few shifts in the rankings for Women's Soccer. University of Virginia takes over the Number 1 spot as Florida State shifts to number 3 after their loss to Duke. The win for Duke moved them up to the number 2 spot.
Arkansas is currently on a 14 game winning streak after their win Sunday against Mississippi. This win also gave them the division title for SEC regular season. This latest win and their current streak as them in the number 4 spot for rankings. They will have their last regular season game on Thursday, October 28th against LSU.
Santa Clara had a huge win against top school Pepperdine last week pushing them up in the rankings and keeping their 16 game win streak alive. Pepperdine moved from being 3rd in rankings to 13. Santa Clara is currently sitting at 25.
Rutgers Women's soccer secured a part of the Big Ten title after their Sunday night win against Michigan State. They are on a 9-game win streak which is the longest in program history. They are currently ranked 6th in the NCAA standings. Rutgers will finish off their season this weekend with a games on Thursday and Sunday.
